Alpina Druck was founded in 1959 as an offset printing company at a time when letterpress printing was still the main printing method. Initially, mainly postcards were printed, but then the production spectrum expanded to include many high-quality products, such as brochures, catalogues, books and calendars. The tour shows how images and texts are turned into print data in the in-house pre-press department, how these are then printed on the two large-format printing presses and then largely finished in-house.
