Freiheit in Krähwinkel 2024

Who is playing the people today? The young Austrian director and author Moritz Franz Beichl poses this question together with the ensemble. Like Nestroy, he believes "in the power of history" and the force that can emanate from it. Playful, musical and full of respect for the Austrian playwright Johann Nestroy, he approaches the revolutionary play about the "ghost" of freedom and focuses on the qualities of contemporary popular theatre. Krähwinkel, together with its inhabitants, don't we all know such a place?
