FOLKSHILFE 2024

For the Austrian pop trio Folkshilfe, the last few years have been a frenzy of success. Successful albums, radio airplay between format and regional stations, completely sold-out concerts between Munich and the Vienna Arena and, on top of that, an Amadeus award with a total of four nominations. With their original and still uncopied dialect squeeze synth pop with a focus on attitude in entertainment, the Upper Austrians have created a niche for themselves that has long since become an indispensable constant in the German-speaking world. After years of upswing and professional hustle, the inevitable pandemic not only brought a much-needed break, but also time and leisure for reflection. in 2024, folkshilfe will go on tour with an unplugged set including guest musicians and show a very personal side of themselves in a seated setting. For the first time, the band will play a concert set with a break in concert halls. The unplugged music video by Schena Mensch offers a foretaste of the tour.
