20-year-old Bex (Svenja Jung) has to fight her way through a resocialisation programme in prison - which is not easy for the provocative loner. Trainer Ava (Jasmin Tabatabai) tries to infect her and the other "resis" with her passion for dance and to make the previous lone fighters fit for a dance battle as a group. While Bex slowly opens up to her fellow men, she is especially attracted to Jay (Ben Wichert). The "Resis" gain more and more cohesion, but then Bex is suddenly caught up in her traumatic past.
