Filmvorführung: Campeones – Wir sind Champions 2023

The assistant coach of a Spanish basketball team, Marco, feels unappreciated. Instead of him, the head coach takes all the credit. Things are also looking bad for Marco in his private life, as his marriage is on the brink of collapse. One day, he takes his frustration out on the team, gets drunk and then has a car accident. A court orders him to coach a basketball team made up of people with disabilities. But what initially seems like a punishment soon turns out to be an inspiring activity that could end his existential crisis.
An event as part of the "Week of Diversity" 2023: In the period from Monday, 19 to Saturday, 24 June 2023, the University of Innsbruck is once again placing a special focus on the topic of diversity this year, making it visible both internally and externally.
During Diversity Week, many academics will highlight the diversity of ideas, theories and working methods in their respective disciplines in their courses.
In addition, the university invites all interested parties to readings, discussions and films. The diversity of our city and our university should thus become visible, tangible and tangible.
The highlight of the week is the Festival of Diversity on 24 June 2023, from 11:00 to 20:00. Visitors can expect a varied and colourful programme around the Folk Art Museum.
