Film analysis of political structures

Content: This unit explores how the relationship between democracy and monarchy is portrayed in the British film "The Queen" (Stephen Frears, 2006). It examines how (political) power can be understood and the power relationship between the Queen and elected political representatives * inside can be interpreted. Excerpts from the original English version will be discussed in the course.
