Figurentheater in der Vorlesezeit: Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten 2022

What do you do with an old newspaper? Throw it away or recycle it? You could make a robber's hat out of it, why not a whole puppet theatre play? And so a group of senior citizens consisting of a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster set off for Bremen to become town musicians. Because, as we all know, you can find something better than death anywhere. The four animals would never have thought it possible what they would experience on the way. But in the end, their goal is closer than they thought.

The puppet theatre Il Segreto di Pulcinella was founded in 1996 by Saskia Vallazza and Sabine Hennig. Their aim is to make literary models, fairy tales and stories accessible and tangible for children on a small scale. For each play, they look for new ways and means of doing justice to the stories in terms of material, performance style and characters.
