Feminism is for everybody
A foray through history, achievements and obstacles
On the occasion of International Women's Day 2023, the exhibition "Feminism loaded" by the Working Group Emancipation and Partnership - AEP can be viewed at the Stadtteiltreff Wilten. It addresses the history and topicality of women's movements and informs about central concerns such as the fight against violence against women and girls. We would also like to present the project StoP "City Districts without Partner Violence" - an innovative, violence-preventive city district project.

Workshop: Violence against women does not fall from the sky - understanding backgrounds and structural connections
The workshop provides a feminist perspective on the still effective discrimination of women. The second part focuses on violence against women and girls. Violence prevention always needs a "we" - only together can we make difficult ways out of violence easier.

District walk: Wilten is ... a feminist district
Starting at the Statteilzentrum with a talk on the StoP project "City Districts against Partner Violence", the walk with Angelika Schafferer (cultural mediator and Austria Guide) leads along the traces of women's history(s) through Wilten to the AEP - Arbeitskreis Emanzipation und Partnerschaft, Frauen aus allen Ländern and Archfem - interdisciplinary space for feminist intervention, among others. Followed by brunch and discussion on International Women's Day at AEP, Schöpfstraße 19, with Katja Vasileva (Russia) and Natalia Panchenko (Ukraine), moderated by Christine Baur. At the end: Singing together with Christine Abdel-Halim (feminist songwriter).
