Exkursion Ameisen – Das ganz große Krabbeln 2024

Ants are omnipresent and every child knows them. But what role do they play in the ecosystem? What do ants feed on? Do they all sting? What is a super colony? How many species are there anyway?
We will immerse ourselves in the fascinating world of ants on a short, easy-going hike in urban areas and at the edge of the forest. Afterwards you will see ants with different eyes - and not just in the kitchen.
Equipment: Clothing suitable for the weather, sturdy shoes!
Please bring a glass (jam jar) and a magnifying glass if you have one!
