The traditional market, this year for the 50th time

The opening ceremony takes place in front of the Golden Roof with the Amraser Turmbläsern.

The traditional Christmas market is located directly in front of the Golden Roof and surrounded by medieval house facades. As you stroll through the market with its 70 stalls, you will find Christmas tree decorations, handicrafts and a variety of beautiful specialities. The viewing platform above the roofs of the huts guarantees a special view of the Golden Roof and the beautiful Christmas tree. The enchanting fairytale and giant alley is a must-see! The newly designed fairy tales, which have found new places in the Märchengasse, are also a must-see. With the traditional daily sounds of the tower brass band and a cup of mulled wine, you can bring the evening to a cosy close and look forward to seeing the Christ Child!
