Entwicklung – Elke Krismer 2022

The object series "Metamorphosis" and "Entanglements / Developments" deal with the development of the individual / society in the sense of the further development of the person, the detachment from the old / outdated or from other people / circumstances and the handling of influences / events from outside.
The process of development is made tangible in different ways in the series. Dynamically curved glass objects are combined with other materials. In the individual phases of development, the use of the different materials with their respective properties emphasises the process and individuality.
The artist incorporates the play of light and shadow - including the philosophical component - as a fourth dimension in the design of almost all works.
