On 24 December, little Elise wakes up with the strange feeling that this day is special. But she simply cannot remember. When Elise finds a dusty wooden box in the attic with 24 painted little doors that say "Merry Christmas", she thinks she has found a hot lead to solving the mystery. She sets off for the carpenter of the box, who immediately recognises the seriousness of the situation: the entire village has forgotten about Christmas. He knows only one person who can help them now - a man with a white ruffled beard and a red coat, whom Elise has never heard of. But the three of them don't have much time left to reawaken the villagers' memories of the most wonderful time of the year. For Elise, an unforgettable night full of miracles begins.
