Ein Prozess – Vier Sprachen. Die Pionier*innen des Simultandolmetschens in Nürnb 2022
The Nuremberg trial of the main war criminals in 1945/46 is considered the breakthrough of simultaneous interpreting in the form we know today and the starting point for the professionalisation of conference interpreting. The exhibition will focus on the biographies of these interpreters and will be accompanied by an extensive programme of lectures, which will also take historical and international legal perspectives and look at the present and future of (conference) interpreting.
