Don’t Look Up 2022

Dr Randall Mindy and Kate Dibiasky are astronomers and are horrified to discover that an asteroid is hurtling towards the Earth and will destroy the entire planet. They try to warn people that there is little time left. They even manage to get in front of US President Janie Orlean and her team. But their warning is not taken seriously. Their attempt to draw media attention to the impending apocalypse also fails.

Comedy specialist Adam McKay turns a classic catastrophe scenario into an exuberant, even a little nasty comedy, in which people are portrayed in their ignorance and limited view of material and superficial things.
