DER NUSSKNACKER (Bolschoi Ballett) 2021

On Christmas Eve, the mysterious Drosselmeyer gives his godchild Marie a Nutcracker doll. At midnight, however, the Nutcracker comes to life and finds himself in the middle of a battle against the Mouse King. The Nutcracker is determined to protect Marie from the Mouse King.

This timeless story is accompanied by Tchaikovsky's much-loved score. The rising star soloist Margarita Shrainer perfectly embodies Marie's innocence and enchantment - together with the extremely elegant First Soloist Semyon Chudin as "The Nutcracker". He is able to captivate audiences of all ages and takes the audience on a journey to another world.
