Winnetou (Mika Ullritz) is only twelve years old, but he is convinced that he is already a great warrior and can follow in the footsteps of his father, the chief Intschu-Tschuna (Mehmet Kurtulus). But he believes that his young son still has a lot to learn and tries to teach his son to take responsibility. The young Winnetou is eager for a chance to prove himself to his father, and it suddenly opens up when the buffalo suddenly stop coming. For this threatens the entire Apache people.
