Contemporary Circus Visions#A 2023

Contemporary Circus Visions #A takes place from Friday 8 December - Monday 11 December 2023 in collaboration with BRUX / Freies Theater Innsbruck. The project invites you to experience introspective circus by Cie KMQT - Verena Schneider & Charlotte Le May - in a multi-layered programme. The centrepiece of the programme is the piece "alter", which will be premiered on 8 December at 19:30. In "alter", two women share their personal perceptions of empathy, friendship, human domestication and the necessary co-existence of different philosophies of life on stage. These everyday conversations are accompanied by a generous, explosive and intense physicality. A video exhibition will provide deeper insights into the interdisciplinary artistic approach. An online workshop on dramaturgy in contemporary circus and an audience discussion will take place for those interested.
