Chorkuma FILMUSIK 2022

Chorkuma is a mixed choir from Innsbruck that is always dedicated to new and exciting projects. This time, we have taken on the classics of entertainment, the films and series. The music, which usually plays only a subordinate but indispensable role, is brought before the curtain. We have tried not only to include popular and well-known pieces in our programme (e.g. Skyfall from James Bond or Aint no sunshine from Breakfast at Tiffany's), but also to find little treasures. These include, for example, a piece from the film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which was unfortunately cut out of the film for us choir enthusiasts. Of course, music from classical music films must not be missing. So we will sing medleys from La La Land and Frozen, among others. The highlight of the concert will be the most famous pieces from Les Miserables. Written and made famous as a novel and musical, it owes its great fame and distribution not least to the film version with Uma Thurman and Liam Neeson. Tickets available at
