ADELHEID RUMETSHOFER - ROMULO CELDRAN
We are delighted to present the latest series of works by artist Adelheid Rumetshofer (Linz) and works from the SOLID series by Rómulo Celdrán (Madrid/Berlin) in a high-calibre duo exhibition. In keeping with the exhibition title, CALL & RESPONSE is conceived as a juxtaposition of two outstanding positions in contemporary painting and sculpture. Rumetshofer's subtle colour fields - realised in oil on canvas, as a diffuse interplay of surface and space - are placed in dialogue with the colourful and hyper-realistic sculptures of Spanish artist Rómulo Celdrán. Celdrán's work will also be shown for the first time in Austria with its debut presentation in our gallery. Both positions are united by their outstanding artistic quality and highest precision in execution - contemporary art at an international level.
