Sound installation, interactive space - In how many ways are you and I made for each other?

How curious, bottomless and fabulous can it be when humans and animals are not thought of as opposites but as reciprocations and extensions? In the cabinet of curiosities, an interactive cabinet of curiosities and a place that invites speculation and fabrication, the two interdisciplinary artists Katharina Augendopler and Martina Fladerer explore this question.

They tell of the connection between animals and humans, reconstructing the meaning of empowerment, humanisation and appropriation.
The Wunderkammer invites visitors to speculate, to relate to the exhibits, to pull strings and to be surprised by interventions. Woven into the fabric of the collection is a sound installation that acoustically tells of the manifold relationships between the spheres of the human and the animal. Visitors can never be sure whether it is a human or an animal that is speaking to them.
