This belly dance workshop series (dates can also be booked individually) is for everyone who would like to get a taste of the world of oriental dance. We will get to know and practise the typical basic movements, create small combinations and dance together to Arabic rhythms and let our hips swing.

What is particularly important to me in my courses is learning a safe dance technique that is easy on the joints, understanding the cultural background of this dance form and, of course, having fun and enjoying dancing together.

I recommend that you wear comfortable clothes that you feel good in. You can dance barefoot, with socks or in flat dance shoes/ballet slippers. Feel free to bring a scarf or shawl to tie around your hips - there are also hip scarves available to borrow.
