Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour 2024
Get ready for the best adventure and mountain films of the year! An absolute highlight is the film Subterranean, in which the two cave explorers Katie Graham and Frank Tuot venture into what is probably the deepest cave in British Columbia. Diving equipment is a must.
But that's not all. As a teenager, Mustafa Ceylan hangs up his football boots and starts skiing. Today, his whole life revolves around his passion for freestyle skiing. A group of freeriders take us into the mystical world of the Kyrgyz nomads and Sébastien Bouin shows us why he is one of the three best climbers in the world on his first ascent of the "DNA" route in the Verdon Gorge.
This is just a small foretaste of the six films in this year's BANFF programme. You can see the complete programme on 27.04.2024 at 20.00 in the Metropol cinema in Innsbruck. Admission is approx. 1.5 hours before the start and the entire event lasts 2.5 - 3 hours with a break and moderation.
