Axamer Almabtrieb 2022

An absolutely authentic Tyrolean custom worth seeing! Once again this year, the annual Almabtrieb from the surrounding alpine pastures and grazing areas takes place. The animals are expected at around 12:30 pm at the Axam village square. Accompanied by the shepherds, helpers and proud owners, the large herd of cattle then moves on to the collection and loading point at the "Kuntiler" (visavis pharmacy). The Axamer Kirchtagsschnöller are also present and show their skills with the traditional "Goasslschnöll'n"
