Auf den Spuren der Griechen und Römer – Führung durch das neu aufgestellte Archäologische Universitätsmuseum Innsbruck 2024

The "Archäologisches Museum Innsbruck - Sammlung von Abgüsse und Originalen der Universität Innsbruck" was founded in 1869 and is thus the second oldest archaeological university collection in Austria. With over 1,200 objects, it represents the largest collection of classical antiquities in western Austria and, with this focus, occupies a special position within the Tyrolean museum landscape.
in 2023, the museum was completely reorganised. Visit the new location in a changed architectural exhibition ambience and gain a fascinating insight into Greek and Roman art and cultural history through selected exhibits.
