Aline – The Voice of Love 2021

Québec, 60s. Her parents and 13 siblings are convinced that little Aline, with her wonderful voice, will one day become a famous singer. Determined, her mother sends a cassette to the famous music producer Guy-Claude Kamar. He, too, is enraptured by Aline and wants to make the girl his biggest star.

Glamour, humour and great music - inspired by the life and love story of pop icon Céline Dion, Valérie Lemercier has dedicated a dazzling homage to her idol: starting in the poor circumstances of a family with many children, through the first performances, the Grand Prix win in 1988 to her rise as a world star and finding her personal love happiness. The film combines Dion's greatest hits in a stirring soundtrack.
