the ÖH elections will take place from 13 to 15 May 2025! You will be electing your representatives to the student representatives, university representatives and federal representatives.
Your vote will help decide how the interests of students will be shaped in the coming years - so make sure you go and vote!

1) University parties & lecture theatre cinema
May will be varied - here is our programme for you:
On Friday, 02.05.2025, at 19:00 in the HSB7 lecture theatre, we will be showing the film "Akademische Abgründe: Right-wing extremism in the lecture theatre". Some of your student representatives (STVn) will introduce themselves - snacks and drinks will ensure the right atmosphere.
It continues on Wednesday, 7 May 2025, at the GeiWi-Fest in Josef-Hirn-Straße: From 17:00, you can expect music from Innsbruck artists, good food and an exuberant atmosphere - in the evening the music gets faster!
And on Thursday, 8 May 2025, we'll be celebrating the SOWI party: join us for a warm-up with music and drinks on the Sowi-Wiese from 17:00, before the official entrance to the Sowi-Campus begins at 20:30.
8 May also commemorates the end of the Second World War and the liberation from National Socialism - a date that reminds us to defend democracy and solidarity. Let us celebrate and at the same time take a stand for a society that is open to all.

2) Digital Society for Innovation - information events
Are you interested in an international joint-study programme and would like to play an active role in the digital transformation?

4) Aurora introduces: New, exciting courses in the winter semester 2025/26!
You can expect exciting content that will enrich your studies and broaden your academic horizons.
The University of Rovira i Virgili (URV) is currently offering two online courses for students from Aurora partner universities.
The courses are taught in English and provide an excellent opportunity for international learning and collaboration. The courses are: Nutrition and Physical Activity and Industrial Leadership.

1) Uni Parties & Lecture Hall Cinema
May will be full of variety - here's what we have planned for you:
On Friday, May 2, 2025, we are showing the film "Academic Abysses: Right-Wing Extremism in the Lecture Hall" at 7:00 PM in Lecture Hall HSB7. Some of your student representatives (StVn) will also introduce themselves - snacks and drinks will be provided to create a relaxed atmosphere.
On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the GeiWi Festival will take place in Josef-Hirn-Straße: Starting at 5:00 PM, you can look forward to music by Innsbruck artists, delicious food, and a lively atmosphere - the music will get faster as the evening progresses!
And on Thursday, May 8, 2025, we will celebrate the SOWI Party: Start the evening with us at the Warm-up on the Sowi lawn at 5:00 PM, followed by the official entrance to the party at 8:30 PM at the Sowi Campus.
May 8 also marks the end of World War II and the liberation from National Socialism - a date that reminds us to stand up for democracy and solidarity. Let's celebrate and at the same time show our commitment to an inclusive society.
