Alpine sounds and rock feeling: the Schürzenjäger celebrate their 200th anniversary with the Reith im Alpbachtal Bundesmusikkapelle over three days in June. A very special music holiday in the mountains.
Reith im Alpbachtal - When the Tyrolean mountains are brought to life, a very special event is about to take place. The legendary Schürzenjäger will be performing as the highlight of the 200th anniversary of the Reith im Alpbachtal Bundesmusikkapelle. From 20 to 22 June 2024, the music pavilion in Reith im Alpbachtal will be the setting for an unforgettable music festival, starting with the brass band concert on Thursday evening, which will set the perfect mood for the weekend. The Schürzenjäger on Friday evening are the centrepiece of the festival. The Schürzenjäger have made a name for themselves with their rousing mix of traditional Tyrolean music and modern rock elements. Their unmistakable music inspires generations. With catchy tunes such as the "Zillertaler Hochzeitsmarsch" and "Sierra Madre", they have played their way into the hearts of music fans worldwide. Admission for the highlight event is on Friday 21 June from 7 pm.
The subsequent after-show party with DJ "NineDegree" guarantees that the atmosphere will last until the early hours of the morning. Music fans are invited to get in the mood for a great anniversary weekend, with guest concerts by the bands from Alpbach and Brixlegg and the group "Junger Schwung".
