The Bike Republic Sölden is intensifying its cooperation with the Green Hill Bikepark in Germany and will be organising the BYND festival spectacle alternately from 2024. The extraordinary format brings together the most diverse MTB disciplines as well as top stars with hobby bikers, music highlights with contests in the valley. The highlight is the six-day Swatch Nines MTB show, where the slopestyle and freeride elite push each other to top performances under top conditions. In addition, the "Bike Republic Sölden Festival BYND The Mountain" offers action-packed sports events, an expo area in the valley with music highlights and a mountain top party.
The Bike Republic Sölden likes it unconventional. And it has been pursuing a special community concept since it was founded in 2015: Everyone is welcome in the flowiest nation in the Alps - regardless of origin, age or biking skills. It's all about the community - and so the Bike Republic itself is also seeking new "diplomatic" relationships across borders. in 2023, the BRS set up an "exclave" in the Green Hill Bike Park in North Rhine-Westphalia. Now the cooperation will be further intensified with the joint organisation of the BYND Festival: BYND The Hill will take place in Schmallenberg and BYND The Mountain in Sölden at the turn of the year.
2 bike regions, 1 bike communityFrom13 to 15 September 2024, BYND The Mountain will celebrate its premiere in the Bike Republic. The festival will be kicked off during the week by the world's slopestyle and freeride elite. For five days, stars such as Sam Pilgrim, Casey Brown, Erik Fedko and Peter Kaiser will be performing at their best under top conditions at Swatch Nines MTB. The Swatch Nines format is an antagonist to traditional competitions - a high-end playground where athletes push each other. During the week, the area is reserved for selected filmmakers and photographers. On 14 September, the mega show will be open to all visitors as part of BYND The Mountain. The Bike Republic will also offer an extensive and varied supporting programme, including the signature BRS Whip Off contest, a Mountain Top Party, plenty of culinary delights and bike action on the Expo area in the valley.

BYND The Hill celebrated its extremely successful premiere at the bike park in Schmallenberg back in 2023. The festival series will now take place in Ötztal and North Rhine-Westphalia at the turn of the year. In addition to the main event, there will be a pre-event organised by the partner region.
