From 3 to 6 October 2024, Ischgl will bring a variety of classical sounds to the Paznaun for the second time with "Ischgl Classics". The programme of the four-day concert series includes opera, classical music, jazz, brass and folk music. Whether in the Silvretta Therme, in a stable, in a gondola or during a hike - music enthusiasts can look forward to fascinating musical performances at 17 concerts in unusual locations in and around Ischgl.
At the beginning of October, Ischgl will be dedicated to classical music for the 2nd time. At the "Ischgl Classics" concert series under the artistic direction of Daniel Kurz, several wind and string ensembles will perform 17 concerts at unusual locations in Ischgl. Most of the wind musicians that the Ischgl-born professional musician brings to his home town for "Ischgl Classics" are members of the Kammerakademie Potsdam, the orchestra of the year 2022 in Germany. Particularly impressive programme items in autumn 2024: the candlelight concert between 1.000 candles in the parish church in Ischgl; the dinner concert "Rossini's Notenküche", where gourmet chef Martin Sieberer interprets special recipes by the gifted composer and amateur chef to the sound of well-known and unknown works by Giacomo Rossini; music above the clouds at intimate gondola concerts or a moderated concert in the stables, which musically combines sea shanties, mountain and animal stories into one.
