The two exceptional athletes Babsi Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher travel the world for their climbing projects. In an exciting talk on FR 29.03.2024 at 19:30 in the Quellalpin Kaunertal, the two will talk about their expedition to the Karakoram in Pakistan. Admission is free of charge. In the afternoon, you can climb together with the pros at the Open Boulder Session.
The charming Tyrolean climbing couple are among the best climbers on the scene. Together they have climbed their way to the top of the world. The Eternal Flame route (650m, 7c) on the 6,251m Trango Tower is one of the most difficult in the world at this altitude. Babsi Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher were the third free ascent to conquer the tour and have shared the summit victory with climbing legends such as Wolfgang Güllich, Kurt Albert and the Huber Buam since the summer of 2022. In this gripping talk, the likeable climbing duo will take you on an adventure trip to the roof of the world and provide personal insights into their greatest challenge to date with the ascent of the Eternal Flame in Pakistan.
Open Boulder Session - climbing with the world's eliteAspecial highlight is the Open Boulder Session in the afternoon from 15:00-18:00. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants will climb extensively with Babsi Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher in the Quellalpin bouldering hall using a state-of-the-art Kilterboard. Admission is reduced by 50% for participants.
