Here's to a future fit for grandchildren in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis!

We don't have a plan(et) B. That's why we need to protect, preserve and conserve our environment and ourselves.

In everyday life, but also on holiday. The three mountain villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis in the upper Tyrolean Inntal valley are demonstrating their commitment under the motto "TOGETHER. CONSCIOUS. FOR GENERATIONS", the three mountain villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis in the upper Tyrolean Inn Valley demonstrate a mindful and conscious development path in tourism and take responsibility out of love for our environment and future.

Mobility is a particular focus of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region's sustainability strategy. This includes environmentally friendly travel, but the location of the mountain villages makes this difficult - especially travelling by train. The nearest train station is in Landeck-Zams, 25 kilometres and 400 to 600 metres in altitude away. The region is aware of this, which is why numerous ideas have been developed to improve the last mile and work on a solution for an environmentally friendly journey is in full swing. Local mobility is also being continuously developed. And it already has some strengths: Once you have arrived in one of the three mountain villages, you can confidently leave your car on holiday. Because Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is a pioneer in the Alpine region when it comes to the mobility revolution - and has been for 40 years. On 14 December 1985, neither the belated Father Christmas nor the premature Christ Child came to Serfaus, but the world's first village underground railway. It connects the underground car park in the east of the village with the valley station of the cable cars in the west. And 40 years ago it was a real world sensation. For five years now, the world's smallest and highest underground railway, which floats on air cushions, has been shining in new splendour.

Sustainable together. With mountain lifts, hiking buses - and the underground railwayThemobility revolution is not only taking place underground, but also above ground. As already mentioned: hardly anyone needs a car to get from A to B in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. The routes to hiking or biking bliss are short. In the three villages, people naturally walk. In addition, two electric hiking buses run between Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis, travelling back and forth between the three villages all day long. The environmentally friendly commute starts in mid-June. An additional bus runs during peak times in midsummer. Tip: To keep the three villages as traffic-calmed as possible, holidaymakers and locals commute during the day using the well-developed mountain railway network. This unique "gondola hopping" starts in mid-June and only ends late in golden October. And as befits a region of the future suitable for grandchildren, the cable cars in Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis naturally run on green electricity.

Costs (almost) nothing and helps with the mobility transition: the "Super. Summer. Card. "Let's be honest: environmental protection only works if it is affordable. That's why all SFL guests can use the Serfaus underground railway, the hiking buses, children's entertainment in the two children's clubs and guided hikes free of charge. With the "Super. Summer. Card.", which overnight guests of designated partner businesses receive for a small service fee, the use of all mountain lifts is also included. If you want to check whether Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis lives up to its reputation as a world-class mountain bike destination, the "Super. Summer. Card." gives you discounts in our own bike park and on the single trails. Clever holidaymakers can bring their own bikes (or hire some from sports shops in the region) and cruise through the villages in total relaxation. The subject of hire: You can also hire e-scooters in Serfaus.

You are what you eat (and drink): Mindfulness also when it comes to nutritionAnold holiday saying goes: if you hike well, you should also eat and drink well. Being mindful of your environment and yourself naturally go hand in hand. So what could be more natural than combining hiking and culinary delights in a natural way? This is possible in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis: on the culinary hike, you can make many delicious pit stops along the way. Gourmet hopping is possible on foot, by bike and/or by gondola. Speaking of gondolas: The mountain railway companies and farming families work together in Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis, for example in fencing off the alpine pastures and meadows that serve as ski slopes in winter. They use the regional natural resources of the cultural landscape together - tourism and agriculture harmonise and strengthen each other. The same applies to catering and mountain huts: together instead of alone! Regionality and the conscious use of food are also becoming increasingly important. Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis has always lived by this principle. For holidaymakers, it is most evident in the lovingly designed farm shops and on the menus of many mountain huts, restaurants and catering establishments. Enjoy your meal!
