The recently published University Comparison 2023 by the International Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE) once again delivers excellent results for the MCI. With its high-quality degree programmes, the Entrepreneurial School® achieved 136 top rankings.
The subject of the CHE University Comparison 2023 was Bachelor's degree programmes in the fields of Business & Social Sciences and Industrial Engineering, which for the MCI means the following Bachelor's degree programmes:
- Business Administration Online
- Management, Communication & IT
- Management & Law
- Nonprofit, social & health management
- Social Work
- Business Management, Tourism & Leisure Industry
- Economics & Management
- Industrial Engineering
Without exception, students awarded top ratings for all degree programmes, with excellent 4 and 5-star ratings (with a maximum of 5 stars to be awarded as top marks!). In the comprehensive student evaluation, the MCI is above the average value of all participating universities for almost all indicators.
Above all, the evaluating students appreciate the study organisation, the support provided by the teaching staff, the practical relevance, the introduction to academic work, the digital learning environment, the support during their studies and the preparation for studying abroad.
Based on facts about the degree programme, top marks were also awarded for the contacts with professional practice and career orientation, the reliable duration of the degree programme within the planned time frame and the comprehensive support at the start of the degree programme.
Brigitte Auer, Quality Manager at MCI, is delighted with the repeated excellent results: "Since its foundation, the Entrepreneurial School® has stood for the highest quality and continuous further development - the excellent ratings of our future-oriented degree programmes prove this once again."
MCI Rector Andreas Altmann is also convinced: "International quality reviews and rankings provide important information for students, stakeholders and potential employers. I am delighted that the quality of the MCI has once again been impressively confirmed."
Science Minister Cornelia Hagele also congratulates the MCI on this outstanding result: "I would like to congratulate the MCI once again on this excellent performance and the outstanding quality of its degree programmes. We can be proud of our research institutions in Tyrol, whose commitment further strengthens the science location."
CHE University Ranking
The CHE University Ranking is the most comprehensive university ranking in the German-speaking world. It is primarily aimed at first-year students and undergraduates as a decision-making aid, but is also increasingly of interest to business and society. The ranking takes into account the different perspectives of students, university management and graduates and allows for a meaningful comparison between universities.
