Borussia Dortmund U23 enjoys successful training camp in the Brixental valley
The Brixental valley played host to Borussia Dortmund's U23 team over the past few days. Under the guidance of coach Jan Zimmermann , the young team took advantage of the surroundings of the Kitzbühel Alps to prepare intensively for the upcoming season in the 3rd division.
Coach Jan Zimmermann led the team through a demanding training programme in which various focal points such as procedures, tactics, standards and automatisms were trained. His present presence made it possible to correct positions and impart valuable game ideas to optimally prepare the team for the upcoming season.
While the players trained hard, BVB fans and locals had the opportunity to follow the training sessions as fence-sitters at the SV Brixen im Thale facility. They were able to experience first-hand how the team prepared for the challenges of the new season.
As a highlight of the training camp, the U23s competed in a test match against the Belgian second division team SK Lommel, which took place at the SAK Stadium in Salzburg and offered the players an additional challenge.
The Brixen Valley was delighted to welcome Borussia Dortmund's U23 to the region and wishes the team a successful preparation for the upcoming season.
Borussia Dortmund's U23 sends best regardsand good luck to TVB Supervisory Board Chairman, Wilhelm Steindl, who is currently climbing the second highest mountain in the world - K2.
Borussia Gründberg from Linz wins the 11th BVB Fan Club Tournament in Kirchberg
Last Saturday, 22 July 2023, the annual BVB fan club tournament took place in Kirchberg. This year, numerous enthusiastic football fans gathered to determine the best Borussia Dortmund fan club .
After an intense competition, the team "Borussia Gründberg" from Linz was the deserved winner. With outstanding commitment and sporting ability , they prevailed over the competition and won the coveted challenge cup. In addition to the trophy, the winning team received a special reward: an invitation to a Borussia Dortmund home game in the upcoming 2023/2024 season as well as a generous cash voucher worth € 1,000.00.
We are already looking forward to next year, when it will be "Off to the BVB fan club tournament" again.
