2. Childcare in February and SS 2023
The Family Service team organises a varied holiday care for children aged 3-10 years of staff and students of the University of Innsbruck during the school semester holidays from 13-17 February 2023.Registration for holiday care is still possible until 25 January 2023. For more than half of the respondents, science plays no role in everyday life, and just as many find science communication too complicated.In conversation: Marie-Luisa Frick, Associate Professor at the Institute of Philosophy and Alexander Bogner, Associate Professor of Sociology in Vienna and Senior Scientist at the Institute of Technology Assessment of the Austrian Academy of SciencesModeration: Ulrich Metschl, Associate Professor at the Institute of Philosophy at the University of InnsbruckTo ensure reliable planning, please register at arbeitskreis-wuv@uibk.ac.at by one week before the event. 4. Women* in focus mentoring programme
Women* in focus are starting a mentoring programme again, which is aimed at Master's students in Tyrol who are in the final phase of their studies and are planning to start their career in the social sector or non-profit sector. The programme aims to facilitate the transition into employment with the perspective of future career advancement. The aim is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the generations, to promote network structures between the participants and to offer young women* an easier and accompanied entry into professional life through the knowledge of experienced women* in leadership positions. The mentoring programme will take place from April 2023 to May 2024. All dates, programme information and registration details can be found at https://www.fib.at/mentoring/. The programme is free of charge for participants.

5. A PRISONER - AN EVENING BETWEEN SCENIC READING AND POSTDRAMATIC PERFORMANCE
The novella "Ein Gefangener" (A Prisoner) tells of the senseless turmoil of the last days of the war against the backdrop of the end of the Second World War.In the novella Otto Grünmandl processes his own experiences during the Nazi regime, which he later never wants to talk about again. The story is a touching appeal to humanity and a bitter warning against fascism and war, the senselessness of which is presented from different perspectives.

6. Discussion panel: Is disruptive climate protest legitimate?
You can hardly get around them - climate activists. Why do activists take such actions? There's no point! Or does it? Do climate activists understand why others are upset about it? How did we get to this point as a society and what do the media and culture contribute to it?
