MCI is pleased to announce another international success: with its outstanding contribution to promoting the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the university, the MCI PRME/SDG Ambassador Group makes it into the top 10 of the internationalThe award is presented by UN PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education), a United Nations organisation promoting responsibility, sustainability and ethics.
The exemplary work of the MCI PRME/SDG Ambassador group has made impressive strides in raising awareness of sustainable development and integrating the SDGs into teaching, student initiatives and work with local and international stakeholders. The group's activities include MCI Sustainability Week, the international Responsible Management Education Research Conference and MCI Earth Day.
The jury underlines the significant work of the finalists: "On behalf of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education, we would like to thank you for your dedication and efforts. Your inspiring and impactful work on the Sustainable Development Goals underlines your commitment to bring about positive change."
Regina Obexer, Head of the Ambassador Group at MCI, is thrilled about the award: "Reaching the top 10 in this international competition is a nice recognition of the intensive work of the SDG/PRME Ambassador Group, which is composed of colleagues from the different departments of our university. Together we are working to advance the issues of responsibility and sustainability in the various areas of the university, especially in the education of our students. This award encourages us in our efforts."
