Updated 01.09.2023

From 21 to 24 September 2023, sound diversity meets mountain magic in Ischgl. The programme includes chamber music, jazz and folk music. A total of eleven concerts will take place at different locations in and around Ischgl. Music enthusiasts can look forward to great musical performances in the Silvretta Therme, the parish church of St. Nikolaus, a stable, the gondolas of the Fimba cable car and the Alpenhaus at 2,300 metres above sea level.

Autumn in Ischgl is full of contrasts. No sooner do the first leaves turn colourful than a change is also imminent in the cultural offerings. In late September, Ischgl is fully taken over by the classical music genre and delights with a four-day festival of chamber music. Under the direction of local hero Daniel Kurz, several wind and string ensembles play a total of eleven concerts at various locations in Ischgl. Most of the wind musicians are members of the Kammerakademie Potsdam, Germany's Orchestra of the Year 2022. Special highlights are not only the candlelight concert in the parish church of St. Nikolaus and the sunset concert in the Alpenhaus, but also a concert in the stable, where one or two anecdotes are told alongside music from several centuries. The family concert "Hansel and Gretel", a child-friendly interpretation of the opera to the fairy tale, guarantees entertainment for young and old. The Golden Summits Classics celebrate their crowning finale with a Jazz Night in the Silvretta Therme, which is open until 01:00 for the occasion. The concerts are generally free of charge, only the concerts in the Silvretta Spa and the concert on the mountain are subject to a charge in the form of spa tickets or a trip up the mountain.
