Früh auf die Piste und Geld sparen: Kinder fahren gratis im Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau

Updated on 14.03.2023

The highlights in late winter: With "First Line Skiing", skiing is offered before the regular piste opening times. Children ski for free at Easter.

Alpbachtal/Wildschönau - The ski season is slowly coming to an end. But before the pistes close on 16 April, the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau still offers its guests some unforgettable highlights in spring.

First on the slopes

Early risers can enjoy the unique experience of "First Line Skiing" on the Wiedersberger Horn in Alpbach. With the first gondola at 7 a.m., you are the first to make your turns in the freshly groomed snow. The piste groomers have prepared the slopes perfectly just beforehand and the landscape is bathed in soft morning light. First line skiing is an unforgettable experience that is offered every Saturday until the end of the season.

Children ski for free at Easter

The Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau is a favourite destination for families. From 18 March to 16 April 2023, all children (born 2007 and younger) ski for free if one parent buys at least a 3-day ski pass. Children can make rapid progress in the nine children's ski schools and make friends with snow and skis. In between, the mountain huts with their large sun terraces invite you to relax and enjoy. And if you want to experience an impressive 360° panoramic view over the peaks of the Tyrolean mountains, unbuckle your skis in front of the new observation tower. "Top of Alpbachtal" is the name of the new flagship in the ski area, which is best reached via the newly built Hornbahn 2000 cable car. The mountain station offers unique views from the highest point in the ski area.

Tyrolean charm from the valley to the summit

In addition to skiing fun, the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau also offers numerous opportunities for a successful holiday away from the pistes. The two regions of Wildschönau and Alpbachtal impress with their Tyrolean charm from the valley to the summit. The rustic villages and wooden houses in particular give the villages their special charm.
