Alpbachtal Tourism presented its new website with a joint CMS system and optimised booking route as well as the "Alpbachtal Bike Days" with numerous cycling events. Intensive exchange with service providers will continue to be promoted.
Alpbach - The first Alpbachtal Tourism Marketing Day took place at the Congress Centrum Alpbach. The latest projects of the tourism association were presented to the members in front of a well-attended audience. The focus was on the new website. The result: One programming, three websites and a lot of service for the guest. With the new websites, the Alpbachtal Tourism Association, the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau and the TVB Wildschönau offer a complete and booking-optimised tool for holiday planning. In the background is a sophisticated joint maintenance system.Marketing Manager Petra Cosentino spoke of the benefits of this consideration. "It makes sense for three partners who work with similar, partly identical content to use a common CMS. This minimises the maintenance effort and thus the susceptibility to errors," she explained. The joint CMS ensures a strong and, above all, search engine-optimised presence on the web, where duplicate content is specifically avoided. "In addition, it underlines the connection of the three partners to the outside world, as the structure of the three websites is similar, despite different web presences in the respective corporate design."
An important point was, among other things, the optimisation of the booking section, which now works faster and more intuitively. Thanks to the relaunch, all Alpbachtal businesses that can be booked online can also be booked on the Bergbahn website (skijuwel.com). "A modern destination website not only serves as an informative showcase, but also represents an intelligent tool for concrete holiday planning. This includes not only booking accommodation, but also planning tours and booking experiences in the region. "For this reason, we are now offering a fully-fledged tour portal on alpbachtal.at, as well as the possibility to book individual experiences on the website and on the region app," says Cosentino.
Cycling highlights in AlpbachtalIn addition tothe new website, the seamless transition from the winter season to the summer season, especially to the cycling season, was also presented. Various cycling events will take place under the title "Alpbachtal Bike Days". "We are delighted to have the Tyrolean stages of the "Tour of the Alps" exclusively in the Alpbachtal," says Markus Kofler, the region's managing director. On 16 April the ski area closes and on 17 April the starting signal for the Tour of the Alps already goes off in the Alpbachtal. Starting in Rattenberg, the first stage ends after 127.5 kilometres in Alpbach. This stage leads through the entire Alpbachtal region. The start is in Rattenberg. There will be a mountain classification in Brandenberg and of course the ramp up the Kerschbaumer Sattel in Reith im Alpbachtal will not be missing.
"This big event will make the transition to the summer season perfect," says Kofler. Further cycling highlights are planned. These include the e-Bike Battle on 3 June, the Reither Kogel Trophy on 4 June and the e-Bike Gauditour on 16 September. Current survey results from the ADFC confirm that the topic of cycling continues to boom among guests.
New concept for TV summer spots In addition to the sporting activities, there are also new summer spots. These were shot with actors and realised according to a completely new concept with the agency Überall. The films show what guests can experience in the Alpbachtal and make you smile. The videos will be shown on TV, social media and other online platforms.
"The Marketing Day and the various events for the landlords and partners are of great importance for the intensive exchange with the service providers. Openness and transparency are the main focus here," Kofler concludes. Information at www.alpbachtal.at
