If you are already waiting for the next opportunity to get your dirndl and lederhosen out of the wardrobe, mark Sunday, 04 June 2023 in your calendar. Here, on the Hohe and Kleine Salve, everything revolves around Tyrolean customs and tradition.
The panoramic mountains are transformed into a true tradition experience at Dirndl and Lederhosen Day from 10:00 am. The participating hut keepers of the Hohe and Kleine Salve invite you to enjoy and feast on Tyrolean delicacies. The Salvistabahn cable car in Itter takes you comfortably to the KRAFTalm, where, in addition to performances by the Landjugend Hopfgarten and Kinderschuhplattler, the music group "Hoamatgfüh" provide the best entertainment. Directly at the reservoir of the Kleine Salve, you will be welcomed by the "Weisenbläser" and the " Alphornbläser" (alphorn players). On the summit of the Hohe Salve, with breathtaking mountain scenery in the background, models will present the most beautiful dirndls and lederhosen of the new season from Trachtenbekleidung Niederkofler. We are particularly pleased that our special guests from the TV show "Bachelor in Paradise", Michael Bauer and Lara Honner, will be present at the opening fashion show on the catwalk. Traditional performances by the Landjugend, the Kinderschuhplattler and live music by "Stina Gabriell und den Zuagroaßtn" will put guests in the perfect mood for the following after-show party in the Sunnseit Hütte in Hopfgarten. Here, from 4:30 p.m., you can party with the band "Mama Joe".
On this day, all Gipfelstürmer receive the day ticket for the Salvenbahn in Hopfgarten and the Salvistabahn in Itter at half price. For all those who come in dirndl or lederhosen, a little surprise awaits them at the valley stations of the cable cars.
