On 08/9 September it's that time again. The Mayrhofen Ultraks Zillertal will start into the next round, already for the 5th time. There is a lot on offer for the anniversary edition: The "MUZ30" course (with 30.3 km and 2,000 hm) is the grand finale of the Golden Trail National Series powered by Salomon. Numerous elite athletes from all over Europe will compete on the popular trail classic and fight for an invitation to the race with the best athletes in the world, the IL GOLFO DELL'ISOLA TRAIL RACE.
Mayrhofen. Preparations for the 5th edition of the top-class trail running event are in full swing. After the cancellation in 2022 due to weather conditions, the newly designed "Z101" is to be inaugurated this year. Over 101 km, the Z101 leads along high-altitude trails through the fantastic Zillertal Alps past some of the most famous and historic mountain huts. All runners who take on this challenge overcome 8,800 hm on demanding, technical terrain and get a taste of Italian air at the Pfitscher Joch. The highest point of the course is at an impressive 3,123 m. The crossing at Schönbichler Horn marks the top of the tour. The predicted winning time is 17.30 hours. The start takes place on Friday evening at 6.00 pm at the Europahaus in Mayrhofen, the race is the prelude to the exciting Ultraks weekend.
