The Paznaun summer attracts guests to try out new things and take new paths: At E-Bike & Climb, a challenging climbing garden with a hut stop awaits after an e-bike tour. In the Silvapark Galtür, around 300 new bouldering routes have been opened up and provided with online photo topos. Nine new cross trails invite guests to original trail running with poles in the high mountains. Four original treasure maps sweeten the descent for families on mountain tours. The new 3-D archery course at the idyllic Pardatschersee lake takes aim at animal inhabitants of the valley. And the digital travel assistant PIA reveals who, what, when and where.
On an e-bike to the hut to the climbing garden? This experience will be offered from summer 23 with the new "Bike & Climb" routes from Ischgl and Galtür. After the e-bike tour from Ischgl to the Heidelberger Hütte (2,264m), 20 strongly overhanging routes with difficulty levels from 6c+ to 8a+ await you at the hut block. Very rough high mountain limestone offers optimal conditions for hard training sessions, and climbers with aspirations. From Galtür, the two newly renovated climbing gardens Jamblock and Hüttenblick at the Jamtalhütte (2,165m) with 29 routes in difficulty levels 4 to 7 are easily accessible by e-bike in the Jamtal Arena. Both E-Bike & Climb routes are now available for download as GPX tracks. The sport climbing gardens are set as POI. All info: here
By the way: Simplon is now the official bike partner of the Paznaun - Ischgl tourist region. Among other things, the bike team is taking part in the Ischgl Ironbike and will be equipped with branded outfits.
Ever tried bouldering? Bouldering is a healthy whole-body workout that trains coordination, body awareness, mobility and grip strength. In the Silvapark Galtür, one of the largest bouldering parks in Europe, visitors can now find over 300 newly developed routes at the foot of the Ballunspitze. The area, designed and developed by Austrian bouldering legend Bernd Zangerl, is located at an altitude of 1,800 to 2,000 metres with its beginner-friendly friction slabs, technical cracks and far overhanging roofs and now has 445 bouldering routes on 195 boulder blocks in 14 sectors. Also new: All routes have been provided with online photo topos and set as POI locations. The children's and beginners' area is about ten minutes' walk from the Alpkogelbahn mountain station. Highlight for pros: the Anam Cara sector with extremely difficult routes up to 8c. Bouldering mats can be rented in Galtür. Info: here
High mountain trails, poles and uphill running - this is the best way to describe the new Paznaun offer "Cross Trails powered by LEKI". Cross Trail" is the most original form of trail running, which involves a mixture of fast-paced hiking and running in the high mountains to overcome a few metres of altitude. The nine new, signposted routes are distributed throughout Paznaun in technically demanding and often stony terrain. Medium-difficulty tours, for example, start at a distance of 3.7 kilometres and 790 metres in altitude; more demanding routes include 13.2 kilometres and around 1,200 metres in altitude. The starting points of the new trails are cable car valley stations or bus stops. (Leki) poles can be hired in the sports shops in Paznaun. All info: here
Four precious paper treasure maps, eight to 15 hidden treasures and a reward at the end of every mountain tour. Starting this summer, four new treasure routes will sweeten the descent for families. In each village in Paznaun, a treasure hunt with a matching story leads from the respective cable car mountain station (in Ischgl middle station) down to the valley. Well-hidden containers contain letters that together act as the solution word for the reward. The paper treasure maps are available at the local information offices. All information: here

Novices take part in a guided tour or complete a training course on the practice course.
