22. Summer Theatre Kitzbühel

On the occasion of the 22nd Kitzbühel Summer Theatre, the comedy "Like you" will celebrate its gala premiere on 27 July 2023 in the concert hall of the Landesmusikschule Kitzbühel - including a champagne reception and flying buffet.

Charming comedy, completely atypical in style

What do you tell complete strangers about yourself on a dating app? What are your experiences on the first real date? What questions do you ask to find out in a short time whether the other person is right for you? And what do you conclude from the answers? All these questions are dealt with extensively and in a very humorous way in the play "Like you" directed by Leopold Dallinger. The play is about the sisters Karla and Sabine and the two good friends Richard and Paul. All four are single. That's why Karla and Richard meet for a blind date and then tell Sabine and Paul about it. But Paul has an app that allows you to track down people nearby who have a similar profile to your own. So it happens that he meets Karla. And since Richard feels burnt out as a teacher, he goes to a therapist called Sabine, who is Karla's sister. But the fact that Paul fibbed when he wrote his app profile and that Sabine treats patients but actually needs help herself is only discovered in Markus Köbeli's comedy after a cheerful odyssey of numerous errors and confusions. With virtuosity and light as a feather, he lets us get to know two couples who would hardly have met on the straight and narrow, and who in the end set out to discover the world anew.

In addition to the gala premiere on 27 July 2023 at 6:30 pm, the other performances will be on 03, 04, 10, 11, 17 and 18 August 2023, each at 8:00 pm in the concert hall of the Landesmusikschule Kitzbühel.
