The Pillersee itself, after which the valley is named, rarely exceeds 20 degrees even in midsummer - and therefore promises the best way to cool off after a hot summer's day. There is also the picturesque Wildseelodersee at 1,854 metres, smaller lakes such as the Wiesensee and crystal-clear mountain streams.
