10 days full of sport, fun and emotions - more than 500 employees, volunteers and service providers will be able to participate in the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships Innsbruck-Stubai 2023 (WMTRC) from 6 to 10 June and in the adidas TERREX Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival 2023 (IATF) from 1 to 4 June. Registration is now open.

Around 500 volunteers will have the chance to experience thrilling trail run action up close, get a unique behind-the-scenes look at an international event, meet new people, gain event management experience and experience what it means to achieve a goal together as part of an enthusiastic team. If you want to get hold of one of the 500 volunteer places at the WMTRC or the IATF, you can now easily register on the website and choose between twelve exciting areas of assignment. And as a small thank-you, all those who sign up will receive different goodies, food, training and certificates, depending on the duration of the assignment and the area of responsibility.

OC head Alexander Pittl sums it up: "Volunteers are the backbone of big events - without them many events could not be realised. That's why we would like to thank all those who will help to make the WMTRC 2023 a celebration of sport in the heart of the Alps

The athletes are also aware of the importance of the volunteers. Ida-Sophie Hegemann is an ambassador of the WMTRC Innsbruck-Stubai 2023 and won the K110 at IATF 2022. She is convinced: "Sporting events like the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships live from great and friendly volunteers, like I have already experienced at the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival. Thank you for everything you do - it's great to have you there!"
