Bike season start at the Reschenpass: Flowing trails, breathtaking mountain panorama and optimal weather conditions to start the new bike season: The legendary MTB Opening Testival Green Days at the Reschenpass took place again this year. From 26 to 29 May 2022, there was ultimate biking fun for young and old at the Bergkastelbahn in Nauders.
Every day, more than 1,500 bikers from Germany, Italy, Austria and Switzerland got their money's worth - a complete success for the region. The single trail Eldorado in the border triangle once again presented itself from its best side. The Bergkastel, Haideralm, Schöneben and Mutzkopf cable cars guaranteed smooth transport at special prices and thus enabled maximum trail fun. The supporting programme included guided experience rides and basic riding technique training with local guides. In addition to the sporting action, the top exhibitors in the industry offered exciting insights into the latest achievements in the areas of material and equipment. The expo was located next to the cable car centre of the Bergkastelbahn and held everything that thrills the cycling heart - BH Bikes, Simplon, adidas Five Ten, CamelBak and Garmin were represented. Other brands welcomed the first two hundred participants with useful bike-related items in high-quality goody bags.
The Bitburger Alkoholfrei lounge in the afternoon and the various events in the evening offered the bikers a variety of opportunities for exchange in a relaxed summer atmosphere. One highlight was the performances by the two regional bands Saltbrennt and Hatcheck in Billy's Bike Lounge, which provided the perfect end to a sunny day on the trails. Young visitors enjoyed the pump track and kid's course, which are now open all season.
