After the treasure hunt for children and families, the Tourism Association Region Hall-Wattens together with the team around Michael Ölhafen (Locandy) developed a new app for young people and adults called "Hidden Hall - A town to fall in love with!"
"The experience of the last few years has shown us that our guests also like to be interactive and active at any time of the day, to explore the city with pleasure and flexibility of time. At times, this was not possible in any other way due to Corona. In a colourful mix of history(s), anecdotes, poems and recipes, Hall's city history can now be experienced in a completely different way. Guests and locals alike are invited to come to the tourist office, where the app can be downloaded via QR code. Even though you can listen to the first of ten stations on a trial basis beforehand via our homepage, each additional station can only be accessed in person, i.e. on site. For this, it is necessary to go to Hall, to be there in person, to go on a journey into the Middle Ages yourself," says Anita Töchterle-Graber, who is responsible for the content of the tour together with Dr. Barbara Thaler from Locandy.
"It requires a smartphone and your own headphones, especially for the visit to the parish church. Silent Cinema, then, a pleasure for all the senses, escaping from everyday life and being guided via GPS to a total of 10 stations while listening to fantastic music by Herbert Pixner, who kindly provided us with two of his titles ("Summer Bossa" and "Nur für dich allein"). His music combines tradition and modernity and provides the perfect musical backdrop for our new virtual city tour," is the praise from the tourism office.
