The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is one of the largest, most modern and most ecological ski areas in the world. 83 modern cable cars, over 270 kilometres of pistes and 80 huts bring variety and fun to a winter's day.
Insanely big, insanely varied, insanely cosy: SkiWelt combines the best of winter on its more than 270 kilometres of pistes - and only an hour's drive from Salzburg, Innsbruck and Munich. 83 modern cable cars lead uphill from the nine entry points. At the top, a unique mountain panorama spreads out, with views over 70 three-thousand-metre peaks all the way to the Großglockner. 80 rustic, family-run huts with sun terraces and service provide the typical Tyrolean refreshment stop in between.
Whether beginner, family, sporty skier or pleasure skier: SkiWelt has the right slopes for every type of skier. Families will find plenty of easy and insanely wide slopes as well as practice runs, plus 22 professional ski schools with their own children's ski schools as well as mini and toddler supervision on the mountain. For all those who love variety, there are new things to discover every day on the 270 kilometres of pistes. Everyone can choose their route every day so that no piste has to be skied twice, unless of course you want to. The SkiWelt Tour or even the KitzSkiWelt Tour, the longest ski circuit in the world, await sporty, frequent skiers. Ski until your calves burn: Off you go on 19 insanely long downhill runs. For adventure seekers there are three fun and snow parks of varying degrees of difficulty, ski movie, race and speed measuring tracks, as well as Austria's largest night skiing area in Söll from Wednesday to Saturday. SkiWelt Brixen and SkiWelt Westendorf get all early risers onto the slopes from the end of January every Thursday from 7.30 am at no extra cost. 22 kilometres of freshly prepared pistes invite you to enjoy skiing at sunrise. Also from the end of January, SkiWelt will again extend the opening hours in the afternoon for even longer fun on the slopes, as it does every year. Even longer skiing pleasure for the same price. On the SkiWelt tour, skiers and snowboarders discover the best sides of one of the largest, most modern and most ecological ski areas in the world. Depending on the direction of travel, there are 69 to 84 kilometres of pistes between Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten, Itter, Scheffau, Söll and Westendorf as well as. The SkiWeltTour can be completed in one or more days and can be started and finished in any village. And the best thing is: no lift or piste has to be used twice, unless you want to. You should also ski the KitzSkiWelt Tour at least once in your life: The longest ski circuit in the world combines the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental and the adjacent KitzSki ski area. The 88 kilometres of downhill runs, covering 17,000 metres in altitude, stretch from Tyrol to Salzburg. This mega-skiing experience can also start and end in any village. The longest variant leads from Going to Hollersbach and back. The tour can be completed in one day or several days. There is also a ski bus connection from Pass Thurn back to the Brixental.
