On the slopes, get set, go! The winter season in the Tyrolean ski area begins on 8 December with many innovations
Ten years ago, Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau became one of the largest ski areas in Tyrol. 113 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes, 45 lifts and 25 rustic huts will once again provide plenty of winter fun this year. And there are a few innovations awaiting ski guests
To mark the anniversary, a new, ultra-modern 6-seater chairlift "Hornbahn 2000" has been built in place of the Hornlift 2000. The absolute highlight, however, is the new mountain station. Named "Top of Alpbachtal", it has a 13-metre high observation tower with a 360-degree panoramic view. The interior with panoramic windows invites you to linger. Another new attraction is the "Schatzberg Zwergenland" (Schatzberg Dwarf Land) at the Schatzbergbahn mid-station. The spacious area offers families plenty of space to learn to ski and invites the little ones to play in the snow.
The facilities at Wiedersberger Horn & Schatzberg are open from 8 December. All information at: www.skijuwel.com
