AT THE SEEFELD STRUDEL MARKET LAST WEEKEND!
(SEEFELD, 03.07.2022) Punctually at 11:00 a.m. the culinary summer highlight of the Seefeld region opened its doors: the Seefeld Strudel Market! With over 50 different types of strudel and almost 20 stalls from local restaurateurs, the Seefeld Strudel Market 2022 successfully returned in its original format.
Welcomed by flowering decorations and traditional live music in bright sunshine, visitors were spoilt for choice. For in addition to well-known recipes, the strudel variety convinced with many thoroughly innovative components and variations! As early as 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, all streets of the Seefeld pedestrian zone were bustling with people. Those who went on the culinary journey from stall to stall were surprised by both well-known and unusual strudel varieties. Smoked trout and chanterelle strudel, apricot and pistachio strudel or Mediterranean strudel with basil and mozzarella are just a few of the offerings at the Seefeld Strudel Market. Although the summer sun lived up to its name and heated up the Seefeld pedestrian zone, visitors were not deterred from tasting, strolling and enjoying.
Colourful attractions and traditional live musicInaddition to delicious strudels,thepedestrian zone also attracted visitors with colourful attractions for young and old as well as a varied children's programme. Friends of dexterity could show off their sense of balance on a slackline or with juggling plates. Kids, on the other hand, needed a little patience and a steady hand for duck fishing in the fountain. Visitors were entertained by live music in all streets until 5 pm, including the Kranzberg Blos, the Strudelmusi, the Außergewöhnlichen and the Dreiergrobn Buam. The Seefelder Plattler also provided real, lived tradition with their "Plattler performances". In the alleys of Seefeld, people lent a hand themselves, away from the tasting: At the traditional "Bandltanz" of the Plattler, you could take the opportunity to be in the middle of it instead of just being there and hold the tree in the middle of the action.
See you next year! For all strudel fans, it's "Geh'n ma zum Strudelfest in Seefeld?" again next year Visitors and guests can already make a note of next year's date. The Seefeld Strudel Market traditionally takes place again at the beginning of July!
