- ÖH Period Positive! The biggest myths about menstruation
The lecture 'The biggest myths around menstruation' is about the origin, the causes and the effects of the taboo of the female period on our society. Social as well as ecological and economic effects will be discussed. In addition, the biggest myths that still prevail around menstruation are discussed and the problems of conventional menstrual products are explained. Finally, sustainable menstrual products and their advantages and disadvantages are examined and you are given the opportunity to find out what you can do to break the taboo of menstruation and make the (menstrual) world more sustainable.

- Let's talk - Self-help groups for students
We all have difficulties in our studies. They can be very diverse: stress, loneliness, money worries, motivation difficulties, pressure to perform, procrastination, but also physical and mental illnesses, anxiety, addiction, depression and so much more.
You are not alone! In order to be able to get rid of your own worries for once, to be able to exchange ideas with others with the same problems and possibly benefit from their experiences, there are now fortnightly discussion groups - by students for students. Just send us an email at selbsthilfe@oeh.cc with a topic you would like to talk about and we will get back to you.

2. Austria-wide survey 'Student Health in Austria
Too little research has been done on how to stay healthy while studying and what can make you ill during this phase of your life. That's why a nationwide study on this is currently underway. The link below will take you to the corresponding online questionnaire.

4. Youth Global Peace and Transformation: Meditation for Students
Do you know this? You feel stressed, unwell. There are increasingly moments when it seems like everything is just too much and the pressure and expectations are too high.
Regular meditation has been proven to be an effective way to counteract this and to slow down the constantly circling train of thoughts and feelings. A mixture of active focus and relaxation makes it possible to gain clarity, discover new perspectives and angles on oneself and one's own life situation, and achieve balance and well-being.

5. International Summer Academy for Journalism and PR at the University of Liechtenstein
12 scholarships - apply quickly!
Finally reading your own name in the newspaper, under a report you wrote yourself. But how do I get to exciting topics, how do I question critically, how do I write a press release? And how do I get started in the media?
These practical tasks are the focus of the four-week university course at the University of Liechtenstein in Vaduz. The call for applications for the International Summer Academy for Journalism and PR is addressed to students of all subjects. Upon successful completion, they take home 10 ECTS points. They learn media work from scratch. Reports by the students appear in Liechtenstein's daily newspapers while they are still attending the course.

8. Reading mentor Innsbruck wanted
The reading mentor project of the Junge Stadt association has been running for more than 10 years and offers pupils at Innsbruck schools individual support to improve their reading skills. In the last few months we have been confronted with challenges that have not allowed us to run the project in the usual way. Now we are starting again and are looking for motivated and reliable reading mentors who want to make a contribution and thus do good for young people and themselves.
Our volunteer team is made up of a diverse mix of people who regularly spend time with the children and young people. Our reading sessions always take place on a fixed day at the respective schools. The duration depends on the local conditions, but is usually about 60 minutes.

10. Diploma Thesis Award 2022
The Diploma Thesis Award will take place again this year. The Diploma Thesis Award of the SERES Unit honours outstanding bachelor, master, diploma and doctoral theses in the field of 'Enterprise Systems'. The authors of the best theses receive cash prizes worth a total of 1,500 euros. The aim of the Diploma Thesis Award is, on the one hand, an adequate recognition of scientific achievements and, on the other hand, to make the theses available to students, the scientific community and public and private companies free of charge
The authors of the three most positively evaluated bachelor's, master's and diploma theses will receive cash prizes. Furthermore, the winners will have the opportunity to present their thesis to an expert audience at the ERP Future event(www.erp-future.com).

11. INUI Behavioural change instead of climate change
Environmental psychologist Jana Kesenheimer explains which framework conditions motivate people to behave in a way that conserves resources.
A train journey or a flight to faraway places? A vegan diet or not without the milk in your coffee? When and why do we behave in an environmentally friendly way or not? These are the questions that occupy social and environmental psychologist Jana Kesenheimer. She is doing her doctorate at the University of Innsbruck and is investigating which factors influence environmentally relevant behaviour. What role environmental attitudes, personality facets and various egoistic and ecological motives play, and how the Corona pandemic can affect our environmental behaviour - Jana will present her research on this in an online lecture. There will be plenty of time for lively discussion afterwards!

These practical tasks are in the focus of the university course at the University of Liechtenstein in Vaduz that lasts four weeks. The announcement of the international summer academy for journalism and PR addresses students of all subjects. With a successful conclusion you receive 10 ECTS credits. You learn media relations from scratch. Even during the course, articles written by the students are already published in Liechtenstein's newspapers.

8. Reading Mentor Innsbruck
The reading mentor project by the "Junge Stadt" society already exists for more than 10 years and gives students at schools in Innsbruck the possibility to receive individual support to improve their reading skills. In the recent months we were confronted with challenges and it was not possible to carry out the project as usual. Now we are getting started again and are looking for motivated and reliable reading mentors that would like to make a contribution so that teenagers can do themselves some good.

The Diploma Thesis Award will also take place this year. 11. INUI Behaviour Change instead of Climate Change
The environmental psychologist Jana Kesenheimer explains what underlying conditions motivate people towards a resource-efficient behaviour.
Travel by train or take the plain? Vegan diet or not without milk in your coffee? When and why do we behave environmentally friendly and when and why not? These questions are the field of research of social and environmental psychologist Jana Kesenheimer. She is doing her PhD at the University of Innsbruck and investigates what determinants influence an environmentally relevant behaviour. What importance have environmental attitudes, personality traits and different egotistical and ecological motives and what effect can the covid pandemic have on our environmental behaviour - Jana presents us her research to this subject in an online lecture. Subsequently, there is enough time for an interactive discussion!
